The Wilderness Downtown

I grew up between a little town in Venezuela near the capital and Bartlesville Oklahoma, another little town nobody knows in the Stetes. The thing is that I've never told how great is to have a childhood in little towns, where everyone knows you and the friendliness of its people helps you grow up. I imagine that the city can be great for teen and adult fun, but nothing like swiming in a pool of leafs in autum careless of scorpions and snakes, unaware of the dangers and having a blast with your friends.

Venezuela is fun, but never with the quality of a childhood in some good old Oklahoman park...My chilldhood will always be in some of this little parks and some of this awesome and simple streets, and will be contained in bycicle rides around the town.

Well, today I rememberd, with little tears in my eyes showing, those times. When life was simple and I wondered careless watching the seasons go by.

To all the people involved in the latest interactive video or whatever people would want to call it, you made a wonderful thing, making a tall venezuelan guy watch his streets and school again in old Brtlesville, now that life is more complicated and has been a hard one so far.

Fistful Of Mercy

Every year we have a bunch of super artists colaborating or making new bands together...This year has had some great stuff but for sure one of the highlights will be Fistful of Mercy. This band is made out of Dhani Harrison (George Harriosn's Son), Ben Harper and Joseph Arthur and the results are listening pretty good!

Free Flights and Leg Humping

If you don't know who Jens Lekman is, you should know that he's a timid like man with lot's of creativity and a wicked sence of humor. He's also an amazing singer/songwriter that I strongly recomend. But today I won't talk about his music, but about his participation in an Australian quizz-comedy show that was both, brilliant and adorable! And funny as hell :-)

Also he does the funniest comments about Drew Barrymore and their meeting when she wanted to use his songs in the Whip It Soundtrack (amazing sountrack btw)

Erase/Rewind

Hello, my name is Manuel, and this is my old new blog.

I've decided to try to give my blog a new and simple twist, it doesn't mean that it wont be deep sometimes, just means that I want it to be fresh and new, that's why you can consider my blog reborned and let's see how it goes...this is now my new first entrance, and let's hope you enjoy what's yet to come ;-)
