The Wilderness Downtown

I grew up between a little town in Venezuela near the capital and Bartlesville Oklahoma, another little town nobody knows in the Stetes. The thing is that I've never told how great is to have a childhood in little towns, where everyone knows you and the friendliness of its people helps you grow up. I imagine that the city can be great for teen and adult fun, but nothing like swiming in a pool of leafs in autum careless of scorpions and snakes, unaware of the dangers and having a blast with your friends.

Venezuela is fun, but never with the quality of a childhood in some good old Oklahoman park...My chilldhood will always be in some of this little parks and some of this awesome and simple streets, and will be contained in bycicle rides around the town.

Well, today I rememberd, with little tears in my eyes showing, those times. When life was simple and I wondered careless watching the seasons go by.

To all the people involved in the latest interactive video or whatever people would want to call it, you made a wonderful thing, making a tall venezuelan guy watch his streets and school again in old Brtlesville, now that life is more complicated and has been a hard one so far.

Shame lot's of the people I know grew up in places that are very underated from google earth and tecnology in general, but for those of you that get to this blog and have the oportunity to try it in the place you grew up and you happen to love Arcade Fire: don't miss it for the world!
