Some words on Chromeo

Maybe some people don’t like Chromeo, they look at them as too hipsters, too electro, too retro, whatever. I must say that I’ve had a crush on this band since it came out, and in the new LP “Business Casual” they demonstrate that Chromeo will always be Chromeo. This doesn’t mean that the new LP is a repetition of previews ones, actually, musically it’s maybe the less electro, they come to say that they are educated geeks that can compose really good music with the early sounds of 70’s and 80’s disco, hip hop, and electro but still represent this times. Another classy note on this LP is that all songs were written in piano, thing that the Yours Truly session leaves no doubt for the world to see.

I really don’t care what everyone says about Chromeo, they haven’t had a single down for me and they hit all my buttons right, and yes…the new LP is just FANTASTIC, so get it, and get it NOW!
